Phase II Trial of Pentostatin, Cyclophosphamide and Rituximab (PCR) Followed by Campath-1H for Previously Treated Relapsed or Refractory Patients with Chronic Lymphobastic Leukemia (E2903)

Purpose

The purpose of this study is to determine whether people who have been previously treated for this disease can achieve a remission and whether their length of the remission will be increased with Campath-1H treatment.

Eligibility

Several criteria must be met to be eligible for this study, Including but not limited to the following:
- A confirmed diagnosis of B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) requiring chemotherapy.
- Have received at least one prior regimen of cytotoxic chemotherapy.
- At least 6 weeks must have passed since prior chemotherapy (8 weeks since prior Rituximab) and entry into the study.
- Adequate cardiac, liver and kidney function.
